Customer Reviews

We are delighted with what we now have in place which not only covers all our energy needs but in fact enables us to make money exporting electricity to our supplier (Octopus Energy) during the summer months. We are pleased to highly recommend the Geowarmth team for any PV system requirements.

Customer Reviews

Geowarmth installed 16 solar panels on our roof, as well as a Mitsubishi Ecodan Heat Pump, underfloor heating and radiators as part of an extension.
The house is now lovely and warm and far more energy efficient despite being an old property.

Customer Reviews

The advice about size, position and the fitting of the PV panels and 9.5kW battery was very useful and over the last year has proved correct- as expected for such a good, ‘can-do’ company. I would highly recommend Geowarmth

FAQs

How do solar panels work?

Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity using photovoltaic cells. When sunlight hits these cells, they generate direct current (DC) electricity, which is then converted into alternating current (AC) electricity by an inverter for use in the home, to be stored in a battery or exported to the grid.

What are the benefits of installing solar panels?

The main benefits from the installation of solar panels include more energy independence, reduced electricity bills and a lower carbon footprint. Lastly, installing solar panels can increase the value of your property, making it more attractive to potential buyers and providing a solid return on investment.

Are solar panels suitable for all homes?

Solar panels can be installed on most homes with suitable roof space and sun exposure. Factors such as roof orientation, shading from trees or nearby buildings, and local regulations may affect the feasibility and efficiency of solar panel installations.

What if I change my mind or move house?

If you’d like to end your plan early or you’re selling your home, you can do so at any time by paying the lump sum outlined in your Hometree Finance agreement, with no early repayment or cancellation fees. This will be required if you sell your property.
